A Typical Day
07:30 My minded child arrives and is settled. My youngest wakes, dresses and comes down for breakfast. My minded child eats and plays while I get my daughter ready for school. My eldest leaves for school at 0745.
08:30 We get ready to take my daughter to St Johns which is a pleasant 10 minute walk from home. When we get home from school, my minded child has some milk and a nap. We go to a Toddler Group at least once a week and visit friends with children too. We will play games or do some painting or drawing and sometimes we will go shopping or go out for a walk.
12:30 We have lunch and then have a story and some quiet play for a short while. We play games and do activities to teach and stimulate.
2:30pm We collect my daughter from school, often stopping at the park on the way home for some fun depending on the weather. We might watch a DVD, but we usually do puzzles and read the book she brought from school.
4:00-4:30pm My eldest arrives home from school and will often play with her sister and my minded child.
4:30pm My minded child is collected. We have a brief chat about our day and I tell her what he has achieved and how he has been. She signs off any medication I have given or any accidents and they go home.
7:00pm My youngest daughter has supper, bath, story and bed.
